Course

Beginners: do as much as you can of one topic (one topic per day if you do the 150 day challenge) or use the pre-structured day course (less flexible).

Intermediate: also do as much as you can of one topic (one topic per day if you do the 150 day challenge) or use the pre-structured day course (less flexible). As you can already read a lot faster it should feel more effective than for a total beginner. Also you can try to tap into the article course.

Advanced: Still, you could use the course, but it might be a bit boring, therefore please visit this page where you will find a collection of articles put together about different topics, each with a common vocab and content theme.

Generally you can always try out any of the other content, either for import or offline use like books, comics or reviewed subtitles.

Teachers: Use this as your teaching material, thus either directly explaining it to your student or for advanced levels asking your student to try and understand and ask any question which you can then explain thoroughly.

Word Entries

Who?

As a verified account (or admin), you are allowed to enter words or sentences. This is to prevent just any random moron from entering nonsense there. The account status is granted through approval by an admin.

Where?

You can enter words in the lexicon or in the reader.

What and how? - Guidelines:

This means: If I take the German word "versucht", for example, it should look something like this:

Or for "quiere" in Spanish:

Or for "يرى" in Arabic:

Important note: For each entry that (originally) consists of HTML, i.e. includes formatting, usually with

noun

followed by an explanation, the word, or a list, simply use the contained translations and overwrite the HTML translation. This serves a better word-for-word translation.

Sentence Entries

Basically, almost the same rules apply as for word translations, except that in this case only sentences are desired.

If it is not a sentence, simply enter the most direct translation.

Also, please pay attention to the current context and always enter the most appropriate translation!
